WHEEL: Single sided efficiently designed blast wheel reduces the overhung load on the motor as well as the time it takes to change blades, impellors, and control cage. Standard blast wheel is 12” in diameter and has seven curved blades for optimum abrasive control. Components are balanced for smooth operation. High horsepower to weight ratio increases the abrasive delivery per horsepower.
MOTOR: Direct drive motor revolves at 3600 RPM. Taper lock bushed motor shaft with NEMA tolerance.
BLADES: Snap lock design eases blade replacement, no tools required. Curved blades provide maximum abrasive control and are cast from abrasive resistant alloy. Cardinal wheels allow for easy change out of blades from 12”, 13.5”, or 15” diameter wheel(s). This allows flexibility to either cycle more media by having a smaller diameter wheel or a greater velocity with the larger diameter wheel.
CONTROL CAGE: Dial type cage for ease of targeting the abrasive flow.
WHEEL HOUSING: Steel plate is completely lined with cast chrome manganese alloy liners. All liners are replaceable.
CONVEYOR: Continuous molded rubber tumble belt is 3-ply construction with standard 5/16” diameter abrasive drain holes. Rubber tumbling ridges. Variable speed mill belt. *Optional drain hole sizes.
CONVEYOR ROLLERS: Heavy duty rollers have 1-7/16” solid shafts. All rollers are mounted to the cabinet with standard 4-bolt flange bearings.
LINERS: 24” diameter barrelheads are 3/8” abrasive resistant steel. Tight sealing abrasive resistant cabinet liners remove for belt access. *Optional cast liner package.
CONVEYOR SPEED: 12 FT/MIN
CAPACITY: 31” wide by 24” diameter mill will handle 3 cubic feet or 400 pounds.
CABINET: Fabricated from 1/4” steel plate. Access holes in sides of cabinet simplify belt and liner replacement. Tramp metal collected on lower abrasive screen.
DOOR: Air operated power lock. 1/4” abrasive resistant door.
ELEVATOR: V-belt bucket elevator provides positive tracking and is easily adjusted. Heavy duty C-section elevator belt has multiple cord construction. Metal stamped buckets. Solid cast iron elevator sheaves. Hopper screen.
ABRASIVE CONTROL VALVE: Totally enclosed butterfly valves are air cylinder operated. Fully adjustable for abrasive flow control.
ABRASIVE SEPARATOR: Single 12” lip separator.
ABRASIVE REQUIRED: 400 pounds.

SAFETY FEATURES: Blast wheel operational only when door is closed. Air lock prevents cabinet door from opening during blast cycle. Adjustable time delay allows the flow of abrasive to brake the blast wheel before the door can be opened.
ELECTRIC MOTORS: All motors are totally enclosed, and fan cooled to provide maximum life. Optional 230/460 volt 3-phase.
