AIRLESS BLAST UNIT
WHEEL: (2) 5hp direct drive blast wheels revolve at 3600 RPM for maximum abrasive velocity. 10” diameter wheels with 4 curved blades. Balanced wheel components assure smooth operation.
BLADES: Cast from abrasive resistant alloy for maximum life with a unique design for easy blade replacement.
CONTROL CAGE. : Dial type cage
CABINET: All welded and structurally reinforced cabinet, fabricated from 1/4” wear resistant steel plate. Lined with Abrasive resistant steel liners.
WORK TABLE: 24” diameter work table, constructed of 1/4” steel plate with abrasive resistant liner. Optional notch makes machine accessible by hoist. Table support bearings are heavy duty and enclosed to for protection of any stray abrasive.
TABLE DRIVE: Electric motor and gear reducer mounted externally.
WORK LOADING HEIGHT: 27”
MAXIMUM WORK DIMENSIONS: 24” diameter or diagonal, 16” high
WORK LOAD CAPACITY: 400 pounds.
CABINET ACCESS: Lower access pan permits quick abrasive change. Clearance under abrasive reclaim system permits thorough cleanup.
CABINET DOOR: Air cylinder powered cam lock door is positively sealed from abrasive and dust leakage. Door made from AR material for long life.
NOISE LEVEL: 85 DB (approx.)
ABRASIVE RECYCLING SYSTEM
ELEVATOR: Dust tight centrifugal discharge belt and bucket elevator. Removable cover permits inspection and service. Exterior mounted shaft bearings for extended life. Screw adjusted take-up provides positive belt adjustment. Powered by 1/2 HP, 1800 RPM motor and reducer.
SCREENING: Primary screen in cabinet protects elevator from large objects. A secondary screen in storage hopper provides positive blast wheel protection.
ABRASIVE REQUIRED: 300 pounds initial.
ABRASIVE CONTROL: Fully adjustable slide gate provides precise flow control of abrasive. Totally enclosed design means maximum noise suppression.
DUST COLLECTOR: 400 CFM integrated dust collector comes standard with one
NEMA type 12 electrical enclosure, fusible disconnect switch, thermal overload protection on all motors, 230/460 volt primary, 115 volt secondary control transformer, blast wheel motor ammeters, oil tight push buttons, digital abrasive cycle timer. Timer controls both abrasive flow and blast wheel motor. Cycle alarm signal and hour meter. Table lockout for blast pattern test.
Blast wheel operational only when door is closed. Door is electrically locked closed during blast cycle. After blast wheel shutdown, adjustable time delay allows flow of abrasive to brake blast wheels to stop before door can be opened.
